We are a firm specialized in community engagement, behavior change strategies, capacity building, communication for conservation and community development.
With over 16 years of experience across 20 countries, we collaborate with NGOs, foundations, and international agencies to design tailored solutions that promote lasting change. Our approach is rooted in local foundations, integrating community participation and local leadership to generate meaningful social and environmental impact.

Our Team
Our team is made up of professionals driven by a shared commitment to social and environmental change. With complementary backgrounds that combine strategic thinking, creativity, and on-the-ground experience, we bring depth and diversity to every project. Dulce Espelosin, our founder and director, leads with a vision grounded in behavior change and communication for conservation. Rodrigo Espelosin, our Director of Operations, brings international expertise in management, innovation, and organizational development with a strong social focus. Luis Felipe Ordóñez, our Creative Director, blends art, design, and environmental education to turn complex messages into transformative visual experiences. Together, we design integrated solutions that inspire, connect, and create lasting impact.

DULCE ESPELOSIN
Founder and Director
Dulce Espelosin is a specialist in behavior change and social marketing applied to conservation and sustainable development. With over 16 years of international experience, she has led strategies across more than 20 countries, collaborating closely with local communities, NGOs, and multilateral agencies. For over a decade, she was a member of the global Rare team, where she designed programs and tools for community campaigns in rural settings.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from Tec de Monterrey and is a Professional Facilitator certified by ICA Canada. Dulce has consulted for organizations including USAID, Chemonics, Emergent Inquiry Consulting (EIC), Flora & Fauna International (FFI), Conservation Leadership Program (CLP), and Sesame Street. In 2020, she received the Distinguished Service Award from the Society for Conservation Biology (Latin America and the Caribbean section) and serves as an honorary member of the IUCN Behavior Change Taskforce and the Social Marketing Association for North America.

RODRIGO ESPELOSIN
Operating Officer
Rodrigo Espelosin brings over 10 years of international experience leading teams and operations across sectors such as wellness, technology, logistics, and e-commerce—always with a strong focus on social impact. His career has been marked by integrating operational efficiency with workforce inclusion, environmental sustainability, and community strengthening. Bilingual and globally minded, Rodrigo offers a unique combination of operational leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to collective well-being. As Operating Officer, he ensures the highest quality delivery of services, uplifting organizational performance through streamlined, values-driven solutions.

LUIS FELIPE ORDÓÑEZ
Creative Director
With over 25 years of experience in scientific illustration, editorial design, and conservation communication, Luis Felipe Ordóñez is a seasoned graphic designer who has led the creation of educational materials, visual campaigns, and learning tools across rural, academic, and community settings. He is the founder and director of Naturaleza Creativa and the Montaña de Sueños Nature Reserve, where he merges art, environmental education, and traditional knowledge into a visually compelling and transformative approach to social change. His work bridges creativity and purpose, bringing powerful messages to life through design.

MARIA ISABEL ORDÓÑEZ
Administrative Coordinator
Administrative and accounting professional with over 25 years of experience in the private sector, foundations, and social enterprises. Known for her strong organizational skills, reliability, and high level of accountability. She is a Systems Engineering Technician with additional training from SENA in human resources, accounting, and project planning. María Isabel specializes in document management, general administration, and handling tax and regulatory platforms. She plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence and global support across our administrative systems, contributing to the efficiency and consistency of all internal processes at Espelosin Consulting.

At Espelosin Consulting, we collaborate with leading organizations in conservation and social marketing, standing out in some such as the IUCN, where we contribute to the design of behavior change strategies, and SMANA, with whom we share innovative methodologies. We also support Naturaleza Creativa in Colombia in participatory communication and sustainability projects.
